The Role
As a Linux Systems Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the critical capabilities used by our workforce are responsive to sensitive and time-critical mission requirements, built on technology stacks in line with industry advances and fit-for-purpose. You will also design, build, monitor and manage systems and platforms with a strong focus on agility, security, and resilience.
At ASD we will invest in you with additional certifications, on the job training and learning pathways tailored to your career as an ASD Systems Administrator.
Key Duties:
Build and maintain ICT infrastructure, including Linux operating systems, application configuration, operating system hardening, local security configuration (e.g. firewalls, application and security policies), and network configuration.
Manage and enhance monitoring and alerting solutions.
Manage Virtualisation/Container platforms.
Install and manage physical hardware including servers, storage platforms, and network devices.
Assist and support customers to achieve mission outcomes.
