* Competitive remuneration - $80,000 - $85,000

WA Haulage Repairs is one of the leading servicing, repair, and fabrication commercial haulage companies. We are currently looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricator / Body Builder to join our team based in Kewdale. To be considered for this position, you will need to hold trade qualifications and a minimum of 3 years experience in welding and fabrication. You will also need:
* Full unrestricted Australian working rights
* A comprehensive toolset
* Full, valid drivers Licence
* Experience with parts allocation to service reports
* Experience with Vehicle Fit outs
* Aluminium welding experience
* Plasma, MIG and TIG welding experience
* Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for welding and fabrication repairs and modifications to road transport equipment. This will include:
* Fabrication and welding
* Custom Repairs
* Manufacture of subframes for cranes and trucks
* Tipper repairs
* A Frame Manufacture
* General trailer repairs and fabrication/trailer refloors / a frame reproduction / suspension repairs / custom modifications
* Fitting of Tail lifts
* Working with deadlines
* Working within budgets
* Maintaining a safe working area
* Fit up of skip loaders and hook lifts
* Parts allocation to service reports
* Manufacture of custom truck trays
Qualifications
* Full unrestricted Australian working rights
* A comprehensive toolset
* Full, valid drivers Licence
* Experience with parts allocation to service reports
* Experience with Vehicle Fit outs
* Aluminium welding experience
* Plasma, MIG and TIG welding experience

Work Schedule
This is a full time position working Monday - Thursday 6:00am to 4:00pm + Friday 6:00am to 3:00pm (and Saturdays if required) 5:00am to 9:00am.
