About This Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiographer to join our experienced team in Busselton, Western Australia.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual to work across a multi-modality site offering General X-ray, CT, and Ultrasound services, supported by modern facilities and cutting-edge equipment.
As a Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging in line with protocols and best practice standards. You will also work collaboratively with Radiologists during procedures, maintaining sterile techniques.
Additionally, you will ensure accurate patient and service data entry using RIS / PACS systems, maintain knowledge of medical emergencies, infection control, and patient care practices, and deliver compassionate care to patients, relatives, visitors and the general public.
You will have the opportunity to engage in continuous professional development to stay current with new imaging techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging in line with protocols and best practice standards & timeframes
* Work collaboratively with Radiologists during procedures, maintaining sterile techniques
* Ensure accurate patient and service data entry using RIS / PACS systems
* Maintain knowledge of medical emergencies, infection control, and patient care practices
* Deliver compassionate care to patients, relatives, visitors and the general public
* Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with new imaging techniques
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require:
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
* Tertiary qualifications in Medical Imaging (BSc or equivalent)
* Current registration with AHPRA and professional membership with AIR
* Valid Radiation Use Licence (WA Health Department)
* Experience with RIS / PACS systems (recommended but not essential)
