Teaching Position
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic educator to join our school community on a 12-month fixed term contract. This opportunity offers the chance to work in a supportive educational environment with ongoing full-time employment based on performance and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver High-Quality Teaching Programs: Develop and implement engaging teaching programs aligned with the Victorian Curriculum to foster student learning and achievement.
* Foster Student Engagement and Community Contribution: Utilize effective classroom management techniques and strategies to promote student engagement, while contributing to the broader school community through collaborative efforts.
* Inform Teaching Practice and Student Outcomes: Leverage data to drive teaching decisions and improve student outcomes, ensuring a high-quality educational experience.
* Apply Excellent Classroom Management Techniques: Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a positive and productive learning environment.
Essential Qualifications:
* Education and Registration: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant teaching qualification and maintain current (or ability to obtain) registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
* Working with Children Check: Possess a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
* Curriculum Knowledge: Demonstrate strong knowledge of Victorian Curriculum requirements.
