We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of complex water infrastructure projects across Tasmania, ensuring outcomes are achieved safely, profitably, and in line with client and contractual requirements.
As Project Manager, you'll be accountable for overall project performance across safety, quality, environment, financials, contracts, design and client relationships. You'll provide strong commercial and people leadership, drive high-performing teams, manage risk, and protect Pensar's commercial and reputational interests.
This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys taking ownership, building capable teams, and delivering technically complex projects in live operational environments.
What you'll be doing:
* Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex water infrastructure projects.
* Own project financial performance including budgets, forecasting, reporting and margin improvement
* Manage contracts, variations, extensions of time and associated commercial risk
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong and collaborative relationships
* Lead and develop project teams through performance reviews, coaching and career development
* Oversee design management, ensuring practical, compliant and cost‑effective solutions
* Ensure environmental, quality and compliance requirements are met and embedded across project delivery
* Provide strong safety leadership, approving WHS Management Plans and driving a positive safety culture
What you'll bring:
* 8+ years' experience delivering civil or water infrastructure projects
* Water and civil infrastructure project delivery within live operational environments
* WHS legislation, environmental compliance and quality systems
* Financial management, forecasting and margin optimisation
* Design management and constructability in water infrastructure projects

* Tertiary degree in Engineering or Construction Management
* Formal project management and/or contract administration training (desirable)
* Current Construction Induction Card (White Card)
* Current open Driver's Licence (manual preferred)
