Opportunity Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Engineer to drive sales and revenue growth across the NSW and QLD regions.
* This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering and sales skills.
* You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions using our range of products including protection relays, substation gateways, cellular routers, power quality equipment, and Siemens switching and routing solutions.
* As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with technical and commercial decision-makers, uncovering client needs, and preparing quotes and tenders.
* You will also attend trade shows, customer meetings, and networking events to build your brand and bring back ideas, intel, and insight to keep the business ahead of the curve.
Requirements:
* A Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
* 3-5 years of engineering experience, with 2-3 years in technical sales
* Experience or exposure to transmission and distribution networks
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
