North Lakes & Surrounds Electrical is seeking an Electrical Operations Manager to take ownership of daily operations, workflow, quoting outcomes, and team support within a well established electrical service business.
This is an operational leadership role with real authority, focused on keeping work flowing smoothly, supporting technicians and office staff, and ensuring consistent and profitable service delivery.
This role suits someone with a strong electrical background who enjoys operational leadership, decision making, and supporting a team in an office based leadership role.
ABOUT US
North Lakes & Surrounds Electrical has been operating since 2007 and is based in the North Lakes Business Park on Brisbane's north side.
We service residential, real estate, and light commercial clients across the Moreton Bay and North Brisbane region. Our work includes maintenance, renovations, fault finding, compliance related work, and emergency callouts.
We are known for quality workmanship, clean and professional service, and strong systems that support both our technicians and office team.
THE ROLE
As Electrical Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day operation of the business and act as the primary point of decision making for operational and technical matters.
This is a predominantly office based role that requires strong electrical knowledge, sound judgement, and the ability to support both technicians and office staff.
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
You will take ownership of the day to day operation and ensure work flows smoothly, profitably, and to a high standard across the business. Your focus will be on decision making, team support, and maintaining consistent systems rather than day to day administration.
Key responsibilities include
• Owning daily workflow and job flow across all technicians
• Working closely with the Scheduler to manage priorities, capacity, and urgent work
• Preparing and approving electrical quotes, including complex and non standard work
• Supporting technicians with scope clarification, pricing guidance, and product selection decisions
• Providing technical advice for office and phone based enquiries
• Reviewing invoices to ensure scope alignment, accuracy, and margin protection
• Leading and supporting electricians and apprentices through clear direction and decision making
• Managing pricing, scope, and technical customer escalations
• Maintaining high standards for job notes, photos, and customer communication
