About The Role
Carinity – Talera have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Child and Family Therapist to join the team. This role provides quality therapeutic and resourcing interventions for children/young people and families referred to Carinity Communities Programs.
In this role you will utilise a collaborative case management approach to strengthen family relationships, enhance children's safety/wellbeing and develop supporting networks within the community.
This part-time position is for a fixed term, concluding 31 December 2026. The role requires 16-20 hours each week, worked Monday to Thursday (must be available on Wednesdays). Applications close on 15 February 2026; however, submissions will be reviewed as they are received.
What do I need for the role?
* Minimum 4+ years specialist counselling experience supporting children/young people and their families in relation to domestic and family violence, child abuse, neglect, and attachment and trauma
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in risk assessment and safety planning where domestic and family violence is an issue
* Tertiary qualification/s in psychology/social work/counselling or similar relevant discipline
* Hold a current Suitability for Working with Children card (Blue Card)
