SRI PUBLISHING CO PTY LTD T/as Dorsal by the Sea Restaurant is looking for Chef who can join our team, Dorsal by the Sea Restaurant is located in 1 West St, Forster NSW 2428 Australia. Working hours Fulltime (38 hours) per week. A passion for cooking and respect for work ethics is essential to this fast-paced environment.
Duties and responsibilities
* Preparing and cooking food as per restaurant menu
* Planning menu items
* Estimate food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
* Ensure quality and presentation of all foods
* Training and developing kitchen staff
* Receiving & storing food stocks, kitchen supplies and equipment
* Discussing food preparation issues with senior management
* Implement, explain and enforcing hygiene regulations & secure workplace
* Select and train staff
* Freeze and preserve foods
Qualifications and Experience
* Must have AQF Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and Diploma of Hospitality Management
* Must have experience worked as Chef minimum 1 year
