About the Role:
We're in search of a passionate and people-focused Food & Beverage Supervisor to join the team at Relish Bar & Grill within Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise. This role will support the Restaurant Manager in leading and inspiring the team and providing an exceptional product for our guests. It will also assist across the In Room Dining space, ensuring an efficient and quality experience for our guests when dining in their room. This is a great opportunity to help drive the success of our venue and to uphold high standards of service in a supportive leadership role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing and supervising staff members, including training, scheduling, and providing direction to maintain high standards of customer service.
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as hotel policies and procedures.
* Assisting in the creation and implementation of strategies to enhance sales and guest satisfaction
* Interacting with customers to ensure the best possible experience and handling any concerns or complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
* Assisting with stocktakes and ordering of food/beverage for the restaurant and IRD
* Collaborating with the management team to develop and maintain a positive working environment.
About You:
* Strong background in food & beverage leadership, hotel/hospitality experience highly regarded
* Like to be 'hands on' and have the ability to work in a high-volume venue
* Ability to guide and mentor a diverse team
* Exceptional communication and customer relations skills
* Strong problem-solving ability and able to adapt in the moment
* Hold current RSA qualification
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
