Seeking Short Term Lab Assistant in Tottenham VIC
* Located in Tottenham VIC (Western Suburbs)
* Short term assignment for 8‑10 weeks (perfect for Science students on Semester break)
* Day shift 8 am – 4 pm Monday – Friday (must have full work rights until the end of Feb 2026)
* Pay rate of $33.38 per hour (including casual loading)
Programmed is currently seeking a day shift lab assistant to commence ASAP in Tottenham VIC for a short term assignment for 8‑10 weeks (with the potential for it to extend to the end of Feb). The successful applicant must have full work rights until the end of FEB 2026 and be available Monday – Friday 8 am – 4 pm. A Science background or lab experience is preferred.
About the role / minimum requirements:
* Short term role to commence ASAP until potentially the end of Feb‑26.
* Working in the Oil lab to assist the lab technician with seed/grain and oil testing.
* Collecting samples of grains/seeds/oils to conduct quality checks.
* Science background or previous lab experience is preferred but not essential.
* Must be reliable with attention to detail.
* Must have excellent verbal, written, and mathematical skills.
* Must be available to work through the Christmas and New Years period (excluding public holidays).
* Must be available Monday – Friday 8 am – 4 pm and some weekends too.
* Pay rate of $33.38 per hour (including casual loading).
