We currently have positions available for experienced Electronics Production Line Technicians.

We are currently looking to fill positions for Electronics Production Line Technicians in various areas of the business including SMD (Surface Mount Device) production machine line and Quality Control Technician.
Your Duties would include:
- Interpret customer provided BOM (Bill of Materials) and check production kit is correct.
- Using a manufacturing pack prepared by the customers Engineers, create the machine configuration files needed by the SMD automated production Line equipment.
- Setup and configure the SMD production line equipment
- Monitor SMD production equipment, and process, and take corrective action when necessary.
- Perform inspections of circuit boards using AOI (Automated Optical Inspection), X-Ray, or Visual Inspections.
- Maintain production records in line with production process and quality procedures.
- Perform monthly maintenance of production line equipment.
- From time to time perform hand soldering on circuit boards.
- Perform functional testing of circuit boards and record results in line with Engineering test requirements.
- Other duties required within the needs of the business and the skill level of the position.

- You will be an enthusiastic and confident individual.
- You will have a minimum 3 years' experience running an SMD electronics production line. Experience on Yamaha Pick&Place Machines is a distinct advantage.
- You will have experience performing hand soldering, modifications, and/or repairs on fine pitch circuit boards to IPC standards.
- You would have existing experience using a SAKI AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) equipment for quality control inspections and understand the results.
- You would have extensive experience performing Visual Inspections in the electronics manufacturing industry and can detect poor quality or errors in circuit boards.
- You will be capable of performing functional testing by following procedures prepared by an Electronics Engineer. This will include setting up the test, using various test and measurement equipment, and recording results as detailed by the test procedure.
- You will have a strong attention to detail and take pride in your work.
- You will be willing to learn new skills and will be a fast learner.
