Reporting to the Business Planning Manager, the Senior Finance Business Analyst will assist in the management of all Finance and related functions to achieve outcomes in accordance with company policies and applicable legislation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. The role is responsible for the delivery of Honda Australia's financial reporting standards and requirements at a local and global level.
How you'll make an impact
* Prepare quarterly and annual budgets and report in Honda Motor's global financial reporting platform
* Lead the review and analysis of the allocated monthly departmental profit and loss against target
* Partner with relevant departmental managers and provide professional advice and support from a financial acumen point of view
* Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and maintain accuracy of financial data
* Prepare monthly CAPEX reconciliation
* Assist the Sales Planning team with monthly economics insights
* Assist Departmental Managers to build SGA budgets
* Contribute to project based finance activities and continuous improvement opportunities
* Support the Financial team on technical accounting policies, as required
What we are looking for
* Tertiary qualification in Finance/Accounting or equivalent or similar relevant experience in a related field
* CA/CPA qualification
* Proficiency in SAP ERP system
* Experience in Financial planning and analysis
* Experience in Management accounting
* Sound knowledge of the statutory reporting process
* Excellent attention to detail and sound analytical skills
* Ability to engage effectively with management and non-finance departmental managers
* Excellent communication skills and proven presentational skills
* Advanced Excel skills
