Responsibilities
* Oversee your section and ensure smooth kitchen operations
* Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in menu development, kitchen organization, and team leadership
* Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and HACCP compliance standards
* Manage stock levels, control costs, and minimize waste
* Train, inspire, and guide junior team members in their culinary development
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
* Certificate or Diploma in Commercial Cookery (from a registered training provider)
* Previous experience in a hotel or busy restaurant kitchen, with some shift leadership responsibility
* Strong time management and communication skills
* A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
* Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
