Senior Youth Engagement Officer
This is a senior role that requires a skilled and experienced professional to lead the development and implementation of youth engagement strategies across our services. You will work collaboratively across teams to champion youth voice and leadership, ensuring young people influence decisions, programs, and service design. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to embed participation in all aspects of service delivery and strengthen relationships with community stakeholders to broaden opportunities for inclusion, advocacy, and contribution.
The key responsibilities of this role include designing and delivering youth-led workshops, life skills programs, events, and school holiday activities. You will also facilitate youth reference groups, lived experience panels, and leadership opportunities within our services. Additionally, you will support youth participation strategies that are inclusive, innovative, and evidence-informed.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in a social service environment, including facilitation of group work. A tertiary qualification in youth work, community development, social work, or a relevant field is highly regarded but not essential. The successful applicant must be willing to undertake ongoing training and professional development to maintain their knowledge and skills.
