A Hydrocarbons Technician role needed North of the river, earning up to $45ph.

**Your new role**
In your recent role as a Hydrocarbons Technician, reporting to the Branch Manager, your duties will include but not limited to:
- Provide a high level of customer service and support for all Fuelfix customers and internal staff
- Carry out service inspections in accordance with Australian Standards, manufacturer requirements and all relevant OH&S; requirements
- Installation and commissioning of new, existing and hire fleet energy storage and management systems
- Provide preventative maintenance service and repair of existing and hire fleet hydrocarbon storage systems including tanks, pumps, piping, valves, hoses, dispensers, hydrid and battery and associated equipment
- Fabrication, assembly, fault-finding, dismantling, maintenance and repair, and re-assembly of mechanical equipment
- Accurate and detailed record keeping and reporting of equipment installed, modified or removed
- Comprehensively complete timesheets and worksheets ensuring the inclusion of all hours worked, consumable and billable items and the Fuelfix & Tanks2Go job number on all paperwork for the job
- Prepare and submit reports for service works carried out
- Complete Fuelfix Vehicle Safety Checklist weekly
- Maintain correct stock levels and records of loan equipment
- Attain a good working knowledge of and carry out all works in accordance with Job Safe Analysis, Safe Work Procedures and or Work Permit processes and authorities
**What you'll need to succeed**
To succeed in the role, you will need to have the following skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the relevant background and experience
- Ability to undertake installation and service works in the petroleum industry
- Sound literacy with the ability to complete worksheets, purchase orders, timesheets etc., to company standards and in a timely manner
- Computer-literate at a minimum intermediate level with the Microsoft Office packages
- Possess a thorough understanding of industry storage and delivery system capabilities
- Relevant trade qualifications with experience in the petroleum industry
- Petroleum and service-based industry experience in retail, mining and commercial environments is desirable.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills with close attention to detail
- Fuel dispenser, calibrations and Fuel Management Systems experience desirable
- MR class driving licence desirable
- Self-motivation and the ability to work without supervision
- High standards in relation to quality of work and safety
- Able to travel and work outside normal hours at times
