Maintenance Supervisor
Yancoal MTW is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor with strong front-line leadership experience to join our team on a full-time basis.
Overview
Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for the safe and effective execution of maintenance activities whilst working a dayshift lifestyle roster (4/5).
You will take responsibility for ensuring that priority equipment across the mining fleet is maintained safely, in quality, within budget and on time.
Responsibilities
Effectively execute priority equipment maintenance ensuring safety, quality, cost and timely delivery of maintenance activities.
Lead, mentor and manage a multi-skilled crew to deliver output.
Plan, schedule and coordinate day-to-day work, assigning clear and achievable tasks to team members.
Engage team members through clear understanding of role accountabilities and performance measures, and provide regular feedback on performance.
Contribute to continuous improvement and optimisation of site systems and assets.
Assist with mechanical or electrical troubleshooting as required.
Qualifications & Skills
Relevant trade qualifications (Electrical or Mechanical).
Demonstrated supervisory experience within mining maintenance.
Experience coordinating major equipment maintenance.
Effective time-management and prioritisation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
A hands-on, solution-focused approach to problem solving.
Experience driving operational excellence.
Proficient in computer systems (SAP, Microsoft Office Suite).
