The Marketing & Communications Manager will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing marketing and communication strategies and initiatives. This role collaborates closely with internal and external stakeholders to build positive brand recognition, drive the firm's growth, and deliver business and strategic goals.
- Plans, develops, and executes the Firm's marketing strategy in accordance with the broad direction provided by the Board, and within agreed budget and timelines
- Develops, implements, and manages marketing plans, proposals, and targeted initiatives
- Develops and maintains a marketing calendar, including marketing, communications and externally facing online/face to face events
- Event management, including coordination of client events and seminars
- Supports sales and lead generation efforts. Prepares presentations, proposals, and tender responses
- Manages and promotes the firm's brand. Creates and manages brand assets and materials, builds brand awareness and positioning, upholds, and manages the firm and vision across all communications and messaging
- Coordinates the contribution of written material internally and externally for digital publication
- Maintains website content, including producing blog content, editing, and creating pages
- Implements and manages SEO, SEM and Google AdWords Analytics to gain insights and optimise online activities
- Works alongside Human Resources to develop and promote recruitment campaigns and employer brand content
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge on digital and social marketing trends, and topical accounting, financial and related matters
- Manages the firm's pipeline reporting. Provides monthly reporting to Directors on outcomes and opportunities
- Makes suggestions about possible business development opportunities and shares relevant information about clients.
- Continually contributes ideas and suggestions to the Directors on how to improve the firm's marketing, researching competitive offerings and taking into account changes in our external environment.
Experience required:
- Marketing or Business-related degree qualified
- Marketing experience in a corporate environment (professional services environment highly advantageous)
- Experience creating and executing marketing strategy and marketing plans
- Experience with end-to-end event management
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign), Mail Chimp, WordPress, Basic HTML, and MS Suite
- Competent with digital tools and strategies such as SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, Console, Campaigns and LinkedIn
- Ability to prioritise effectively, and manage projects and activities in an organised manner
- Ability to adapt flexibly, identify solutions and respond quickly to changing business priorities
