Key Responsibilities
* Deliver friendly and professional customer service
* Assist customers with product selection and inquiries
* Handle cash register and daily transactions
* Prepare and cut sashimi, including handling premium seafood
* Sashimi preparation experience is preferred for this role
* Prepare and pack food items according to food safety standards
* Food handling certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment
* Maintain store cleanliness and presentation
* Assist with stock management and restocking
* Support product tastings and in-store promotions when required
About You
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Good communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Previous retail or hospitality experience preferred
* Comfortable handling food and seafood, including raw fish
* Strong attention to hygiene and food safety
* Availability on weekends is an advantage
* Candidates must be available to work flexible hours and days as required by business needs
* Australian work rights are required for this position
