About the role
Join the dynamic team at Red Dog Brewery as a casual Cook. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of delicious meals for our patrons in our bustling brewery located in Mackay, Queensland.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing high-quality, creative meals from scratch using fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen to ensure food safety and hygiene standards
- Assisting the Head Chef in menu planning and development
- Providing excellent customer service and responding promptly to customer requests
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely meal preparation
- Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
What we/'re looking for
- Previous experience as a Cook or Chef, preferably in a similar hospitality or food service environment
- Robust cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities
- Passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude
- Current Food Safety Supervisor certification (or willingness to obtain)
