We are seeking a Sales & Marketing Representative – Quarry & Asphalt Products to join Swan Materials based in The Lakes / Hazelmere, WA.
This role is responsible for driving revenue growth across Swan Quarries and Swan Asphalt, managing key customer relationships while identifying and securing new business opportunities across the civil construction and infrastructure sectors.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and customers including civil contractors, developers and local government, you will play a key role in promoting Swan Materials' quarry and asphalt products, supporting tender opportunities and ensuring exceptional customer service across the region.
This is a highly autonomous role suited to a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, working in the field and influencing project outcomes in the construction materials market.
Responsibilities
* Manage and grow an existing portfolio of quarry and asphalt customers across WA
* Identify and develop new business opportunities across civil construction, infrastructure and land development markets
* Achieve annual sales and margin targets in line with business budgets
* Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, councils, developers and key stakeholders
* Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with new and existing customers
* Provide accurate sales forecasts and market insights to support business planning
* Respond to RFQs, tenders and customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner
* Utilise CRM systems to manage sales activity, quotations and customer pipelines
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and risks
* Champion a strong safety culture aligned with company standards
What you will need to succeed
* Demonstrated experience in sales, account management or business development within construction materials, quarry products, asphalt or related industries
* Strong understanding of civil construction markets and aggregate product applications
* Proven ability to manage customer portfolios and achieve sales targets
* Excellent relationship-building, negotiation and communication skills
* Experience engaging with civil contractors, local government and infrastructure stakeholders
* Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple projects and deadlines
* Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities
* Current driver's licence and willingness to undertake regular customer and site visits
