About the role
Southern Carve is seeking to fulfil the roles of experienced excavator operator and labourer. These full time positions within our team are key to assist in the successful delivery of our construction initiatives.
Excavator Operator
What you'll be doing
* Safely and efficiently operate excavators and other heavy machinery on construction sites
* Carry out general labouring duties, including site preparation, loading/unloading materials, and maintaining a clean and organised work environment
* Assist with the completion of construction projects within agreed timelines and budgets
* Comply with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
* Collaborate with the wider construction team to ensure seamless project delivery
What we're looking for
* Significant experience as an Excavator Operator in the construction industry, with a proven track record of safe and efficient operation
* VESI training preferable, but not essential
* HR/HC drivers licence preferable
* Ability to perform general labouring duties, including physical strength and stamina
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others
* Strong commitment to health and safety, with a focus on maintaining a safe work environment
* Relevant construction industry certifications and licences (e.g. excavator, etc.)
Labourer
What you'll be doing
