Job Description
Little Miracles is a family‐owned central coast childcare company with 6 centres including Wamberal caring for up to 80 children each day across 5 beautiful learning rooms. We are passionate about creating a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn and grow.
We are currently looking for a caring, organised, and passionate Cook to join our team and play an important role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our children.
About the role
As our Centre Cook, you will prepare fresh, nutritious meals and snacks for children aged 0–5 years while maintaining a safe, clean, and organised kitchen environment. You'll work closely with our educators and leadership team to ensure children's dietary needs are met and meal times are enjoyable and well supported.
This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys cooking for children, takes pride in preparing healthy meals, and wants to be part of a positive and supportive childcare community.
We're looking for someone who:

* Enjoys working in a busy early learning environment
* Is organised, reliable, and proactive
* Maintains high standards of cleanliness and food safety
* Works well independently and as part of a team
To qualify for this position you need to comply with the Cooks in Education and Care Services Qualification Guidelines. This requires you to have successfully completed units in:
menu planning;
nutrition; and
You will also need to hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Food Safety Supervisors certificate and Working With Children Check (WWCC).
