Job Overview:
A Senior Security Technician carries out Installation of new Systems, Maintenance, troubleshooting and service of installed equipment at client sites to ensure systems are maintained in the correct working order. These tasks are assigned by the Service Manager/ Coordinator and must be completed in the required time frames, to the required standard and in a manner which complies with the WHS Policies of ARA Security. The majority of the work is commercial and government based and location within the Central Qld Region. Travel may be required to service our clients nationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing and maintaining systems for our expanding client base.
- Attend client service requests as scheduled by the Service Manager/ Coordinator within the time required by the client’s Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Identify and diagnose the issue/s at the client’s site.
- Complete a Field Service Report for site attendances including Time on Site and Travel Time, prior to leaving each site.
- Update job statuses in Ostendo to reflect progress.
- Identifying potential improvements and recommending security solutions to enhance our customers' security posture.
- Available for After Hours On Call Roster
- Any other reasonable duties as directed by supervisor/manager.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Hold a current Australian Drivers Licence
- Hold a current ACT Security Licence
- Minimum 10 Years experience with high end electronic security systems.

- Tecom Challenger v10
- Genetec
- IP CCTV Systems & Integration
- Fundamental TCP/IP networking knowledge.
- Adhere to strict service level agreements.

- Strong communication skills & organisational skills.
- Commissioning/Engineering skills.
