Job Summary
The Concrete Construction Team Leader is responsible for the construction and maintenance of structures and general concrete works.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise in-field construction and maintenance teams to ensure high-quality work standards and timely project completion.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations, procedures, and policies to maintain a safe working environment.
* Coordinate and manage resources, including equipment and personnel to optimize productivity and efficiency.
* Develop and implement plans to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and overall performance.
* Collaborate with other teams and departments to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements
* A minimum NSW School Certificate/ Record of School Achievement or equivalent qualification.
* A valid NSW Class MR Drivers Licence.
* A Traffic Controller Certificate/ Traffic Control Work Training Card (TCR) or ability and willingness to obtain one.
* A Certificate III in Building & Construction/Carpentry or equivalent and satisfactory experience in construction and concreting work.
* Successful completion of an approved course for Supervisors.
* Ability and willingness to participate in an on-call roster as required.
* A SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction card ('White Card').
Desirable Qualifications
* Non-electrical workers accreditation for safe work practices in the vicinity of live electrical apparatus.
* Enter and Work in Confined Spaces accreditation.
* National Licence for High Risk Work (DG, WP, CN).
Additional Information
Employment will be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the relevant industrial award. The classification for the position will be up to Trades Band 2, Level 2, Grade 10. Salary will be based on qualifications and experience.
