The Role
We are seeking a Farm Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Winchelsea farm.
This is a hands-on leadership role with full accountability for production outcomes, team performance, and farm standards. You’ll bring structure, make decisions, and lift capability — while contributing to broader operational improvements across the business.
You should be a thoughtful and a confident decision-maker, supporting a diverse team across the farm to reach their full potential, while contributing to our company’s thriving production numbers.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
* Lead all on-farm operations including feeding, health, breeding and housing
* Manage and develop a diverse farm team, setting clear expectations and standards
* Drive animal welfare, biosecurity and safety compliance
* Plan and execute production schedules to meet performance targets
* Monitor and improve production efficiency and output
* Maintain accurate records across stock, feed and operations (farm systems)
* Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies
* Oversee maintenance of infrastructure, equipment and facilities
What We’re Looking For
* Proven leadership experience (5+ years), ideally in livestock or multi-site agricultural operations
* Strong working knowledge of animal husbandry and production systems
* Ability to lead, coach and hold teams accountable
* Practical decision-maker with a focus on outcomes and continuous improvement
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Comfortable working in a hands-on, outdoor environment
* Current driver’s licence (essential) | Truck/tractor tickets advantageous
* Flexibility to respond to operational demands
