Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Gardener Handyperson to join our engaged and friendly Maintenance team. This role will contribute to the maintenance of the Hotel's gardens, building, plant / equipment and fixtures and fittings around the Hotel. As an efficient self-starter, you'll be able to work with limited supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
* Attend to all types of maintenance, repair and refurbishment work across the hotel premises.
* Follow a maintenance log and preventative maintenance calendar to keep everything working and efficient at all times.
* Maintain the Hotel's gardens, including hedges and lawns across the estate.
* Ensure the Hotel asset is maintained to a high standard and facilities are always guest ready.
* Keep gardens, thoroughfares and Hotel spaces clear and free from debris and litter.
* Use hand tools, light machinery, small / large mowers, trimmers and other maintenance / gardening equipment.
* Take responsibility for the safety and cleanliness of areas inside and outside the hotel, for example car park and pool.
Requirements:
* Availability to work between Tuesday to Saturday, with flexible start / finish times, in-line with Hotel occupancy.
* Part Time / Full Time options available.
* You'll have at least one year of maintenance and gardening work under your belt.
* Good all-round knowledge of maintenance / gardening procedures, preferably within the hospitality industry, hotels/resorts or similar environments.
* Strong team player attitude and ability to communicate with colleagues across all departments.
* Ability to maintain high and consistent standards.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
