Mental Health Practitioner
We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Practitioner to join our Primary Care team in Tamworth, Staffordshire.
This role is ideal for individuals who hold a professional registration in nursing, occupational therapy, or social work and are passionate about creating a responsive and holistic mental health service within a primary care setting.
Main Responsibilities:
* Conducting assessments of people's mental health needs within a primary care environment.
* Delivering brief, short-term, and low-intensity psychological interventions for individuals with common mental health disorders.
* Mental Health promotion involving the development of effective relationships between primary care and local communities and other services in the voluntary and statutory sector.
* Providing support and advice to GPs and other primary care providers.
* Bridging the gap between primary care and other provider services to ensure fast and effective response times for those accessing services.
* Demonstrating an attitude which respects the core values of the organisation and the principles of Recovery.
