Job Overview
The Stores Assistant role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless management of inventory supplies within the store and storage areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining stock levels, storing products appropriately, and conducting regular inventory checks for quality and accuracy.
* Assist internal stakeholders with order fulfillment, picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch or collection.
* Deliver exceptional customer service and satisfaction by assisting internal stakeholders with product information and enquiries.
* Support order processing and documentation, manage returns and exchanges with internal and external stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate records of warehouse inventory and functions, including stocktaking, to ensure stock levels align with organizational requirements.
* Perform administrative tasks relevant to the role.
* Coordinate hire arrangements for internal and externally owned fleet.
* Conduct routine maintenance and repairs throughout the depot, including external grounds, and security procedures.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Valid Class C Driver's License.
* General Construction Induction Training Card.
* National Certificate of Competency Forklift (Class LF).
* Front End Loader Certificate (Class LL).
* Conduct Telescopic Materials Handler Operations (RIIHAN309F).
* AQF Chemical Safety Certificate (Desirable).
