The Role
SA Heart is seeking a vibrant and professional individual to join our Receptionist team.
The Medical Receptionist is primarily responsible for managing interactions with our patients, other health care providers and Doctors both face-to-face, and over the phone. Training and the role itself will be based between our Ashford location and a combination of SA Heart's 7 other main clinics. This role is Full-time, however Part-time, 3 or 4 days per week will be considered if preferred by the right candidate.
The Individual
Ideally, the candidate will be a highly organised and efficient individual who has an eye for detail and the ability to take on any task, successfully following it through from beginning to end. The candidate should have an empathetic and friendly attitude and be able to liaise respectfully with patients, Cardiologists and fellow team members.
Candidate Criteria:
* Excellent phone and verbal communication including active listening skills.
* Ability to accurately record information and relay messages.
* Strong patient focus with an ability to communicate considerately and compassionately.
* Ability to multi-task, prioritise work and manage time effectively.
* A keen interest in providing excellent patient care within the health sector.
* Experience in a medical setting (essential) and,
* Previous experience as a Receptionist.
