Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Auditor with 3 years of demonstrated experience to join us on a full‐time basis. Our audit team specializes in a range of engagements, providing stakeholders with independent, objective assurance on financial information, transactions and processes.
Responsibilities
* Act as the primary point of contact between William Buck and client management/operational staff.
* Perform and oversee complex audit procedures, including debt, equity, consolidation and going‐concern assessments.
* Complete assigned areas of the audit process (defined during the planning phase) in a timely manner and communicate progress to the audit manager when ready for review.
* Communicate outstanding details to client management on a frequent basis and ensure receipt of the required information.
* Complete the planning section in a timely manner (e.g., at interim) and notify the manager for review.
* Provide guidance to accountants and graduates on a daily basis.
* Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable standards.
* Maintain open communication with the audit manager regarding the status of jobs and any arising issues.
* Assist with completion procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
* At least 3 years' experience in auditing.
* Proven technical skills in accounting and audit.
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline; CA qualification or working toward one.
