Working directly with Design Engineering Stakeholders, Construction, Operations, and Commissioning teams within the APAC region.Join us on our mission to change the world through technology as a key member of our engineering team.Key job responsibilitiesEvaluate cooling systems using in-depth CFD knowledge to make data-driven decisions aligned with our guidelinesDrive successful project delivery while maintaining the highest performance standardsUtilize innovation to reduce PUE, water consumption, and CAPEX while increasing efficiencyDevelop mechanical documentation including but not limited to narratives, drawings, specifications, etc.Drive process improvements across the organization.Perform building energy use calculations for determining capacity and type of cooling system requiredPerform CFD models on innovative and next generation designsProvide reports to senior leadership on the results of those modelsPerform water efficiency use calculations to determine quantity of water needed on siteCoordinate with construction and commissioning teams to answer requests for informationWork with global ME teams to achieve alignment of design and CFD modeling standardsDevelop special projects and assist senior engineers with detailed calculations for special projectsThis position will involve travel (20%)Basic Qualifications5 years experience with Sigma Six or HELYX CFD modeling softwareBachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineeringThorough understanding and use of principals, theories and concepts in mechanical engineering8 years experience in designing HVAC systemsPreferred QualificationsEngineer in training or Chartered EngineerUnderstanding of building controls documentationProgramming skills in Python and AI toolsDeep understanding of data center mechanical systems and cooling control schemes.Knowledge of industry standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, AIRAH, etc.About The TeamDiverse ExperiencesAWS values diverse experiences.
