**Accountabilities include**:
- Ensure that Translink operational business readiness program and project implementation plans are current, accurate, practical, consistent with the program vision, and contribute to the delivery of program outcomes.
- Lead and manage a team across Translink responsible for implementing the business readiness program utilising a range of program management and governance skill sets, including delivery of high-quality information, analysis and advice in a timely manner to a range of audiences.
- Develop and implement strategies for each of the Major Projects that support effective program delivery and benefits realisation and prepare the business for implementation of the various major projects.
- Lead ongoing governance maturity and champion opportunities for strategic and operational improvements to the way the program is delivered.
- Regularly review program performance and act on emerging risks and issues.
- Develop the forward program with consideration of strategic priorities, project milestones and interdependencies and available budget.
- Liaise with stakeholders from other TMR investment programs, Queensland Rail, state and local government and other external bodies to integrate program outcomes.
- Proactively plan, manage and deliver an operational readiness assurance program ensuring readiness activities are appropriately planned, resourced and delivered, risk assessments completed and assurance activities identified and undertaken to ensure as major projects are delivered they are integrated and seamlessly transitioned into business as usual activities..
- Prepare and present a range of communication material about the business readiness program, including scope of the change, business areas impacted, key milestones and integration points, program status, risks and issues to relevant project governance groups.
- Ensure there is both capability and capacity to deliver the operational readiness program, and that project delivery is supported with the appropriate technical tools and processes
- Leadership and people management including the management of recruitment, performance, development, team communication, and ensuring a safe and diverse work environment
- Management functions including business planning, financial management, governance and other responsibilities as legislated in the Public Service Act 2008 to ensure delivery of a responsive, effective and efficient services to the community and the Government
- Other accountabilities and tasks as reasonably directed.
This position reports to the Director (Major Projects Integration).
