About the Role
As a Lifting & Safety Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and assembling various types of lifting, rigging, height-safety, and material handling equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical mindset, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Inspect and test lifting, rigging, and material handling equipment to ensure compliance with Australian standards.
* Tag, certify, repair, and document inspection results using CORE software.
* Perform on-site customer testing and inspections as required.
* Assemble products such as hoists, winches, shackles, chains, slings, and more.
Requirements
* C-Class Driver's Licence (MR preferred)
* LF Forklift Licence (essential)
* Working Safely at Heights (essential)
* Dogman / Basic Rigging & EWP tickets (advantageous)
* Minimum 12 months' experience in a similar mechanical or safety-focused role
