The Murray Pioneer newspaper currently has a position open for an enthusiastic, results‑oriented sales person to be part of our advertising sales team based in our Renmark office selling to our Berri‑based businesses.
Approximately 28 hours per week working over 4 or 5 days Monday to Friday (no weekends). Majority of the week is school hours.
You will be a part of a motivated advertising sales team, working from our Renmark based office. You will be selling into a number of newspaper titles and specialised publications as well as digital sales, covering various locations in the Riverland. We have offices in Renmark, Loxton and Waikerie.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute advertising campaigns tailored to client needs.
* Identify and approach potential clients to offer advertising solutions.
* Maintain and nurture existing client relationships.
* Collaborate with our production team to create engaging content.
* Work independently and manage time effectively.
* Apply creative thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
Requirements
* Well‑presented individual.
* Confident and excellent communication skills.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Someone with an ongoing commitment to developing good client relationships.
* Sales experience preferred.
* Current driver's licence required.
