Job Description:
The Chief Health and Safety Officer will oversee all health, safety, and environmental aspects of construction projects. This includes leading site safety teams, ensuring contractors comply with approved Construction Safety Plans, Environmental Management Plans, and relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight of site safety to ensure compliance with approved plans and regulations.
* Providing strategic guidance and technical advice to project teams on health, safety, and environmental issues.
* Conducting site audits, inspections, and risk assessments to verify compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Civil / Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
* Postgraduate or professional certification in HS&E management is an advantage.
* Minimum 4-7 years of experience in HS&E management for large-scale construction projects, preferably with international engineering consultants, project management firms, or multinational contractors.
