About the role

An opportunity has arisen for a Career Paralegal to join our Workers Compensation team on a permanent full-time basis.

This role sits within a well-established and highly regarded insurance practice, with a strong focus on workers compensation and work injury damages matters, acting for insurers and self-insured employers. The practice also intersects with broader personal injury litigation, offering exposure to complex and varied claims.

In this supportive and collaborative team, you will play an integral role in assisting to progress matters efficiently and effectively. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paralegal seeking a varied role within a high-performing, down-to-earth team.

This busy role will include, but not be limited to, the following responsibilities:

* Assisting with legal research
* Preparing chronologies and summaries of evidence
* Preparing briefs to counsel
* Drafting and compiling correspondence and Court documents
* Preparing mediation and hearing bundles, including document indexes
* Drafting letters of instruction to counsel and medical experts
Administrative and file management duties

About you

Our ideal candidate for this position would have experience in workers compensation, personal injury or insurance litigation and enjoy supporting lawyers with the management of matters from start to finish. Some of the key qualities we are seeking include:
