We have an excellent permanent opportunity for a motivated Law Graduate or Solicitor to join our Banking & Finance team in Melbourne, full time.
Working closely with Nicola Schofield, Partner, and other lawyers across the practice group, you will gain exposure to a broad range of banking and finance matters across a variety of industries. You will assist on transactions acting for Australia’s major lenders, with the team servicing over 20 bank panels, including all four major Australian banks.
This role offers hands‑on experience from the outset, including drafting, due diligence, transaction support, and client liaison. You will also receive support in professional development and be encouraged to build your skills and confidence as you progress your legal career.
About you To be considered for this role, you will be a recent Law Graduate or junior solicitor (0–2 years’ PAE) with a strong academic record and a genuine interest in banking and finance law.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Previous experience in banking and finance, commercial law, or within a reputable firm will be highly regarded and is preferable.
