Our client is a well-established water treatment company offering a variety of professional and quality services to clients nationwide and they are now seeking a commercially focused and ambitious Water Treatment Operations Manager, ideally with some plumbing experience, to cover contracts in and around the South East.
Job specification, Qualifications & Experience
* The applicant will have experience from a strong technical, chemical, contracts management, sales, accounts and engineering background.
* Must have proven experience working within this role and with the water treatment industry.
* Managing new and existing contracts and technical accounts.
* Involved with Chemical analysis on closed systems, steam boilers, water features and cooling towers – preferable.
* Monitoring water systems in accordance with ACOP L8 and taking water samples for bacterial analysis.
* Building and maintaining a good relationship with a large portfolio of clients.
* Other duties will include growing the business, achieving goals and targets.
* Be flexible and versatile to have the ability to manage workload effectively to take the business forward.
* Will have good communication, people management and organisational skills.
* Must be prepared to travel to sites to complete work when required.
