Salary: $79,592 - $154,889 p.a. + superannuation, annual leave loading and flex leave

As part of the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ), youll play a key role in delivering trauma-informed therapeutic care to vulnerable children, young people, families, and carers, supporting them to navigate the impacts of trauma, loss, and placement transitions.
Where you will work
Your role will be based within the LINKS Trauma Healing Service (Illawarra), a multidisciplinary team delivering best-practice, trauma-informed therapeutic intervention to children and young people living in out of home care. You will work alongside clinicians including Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Social and Emotional Wellbeing Clinicians. The service uses the Social and Emotional Wellbeing Framework and evidence-based interventions to deliver culturally safe, holistic outcomes for children and families.
You will have the opportunity to grow and learn, drawing on the expertise of a multidisciplinary team and the broader Psychological and Specialist Services team.

Your role and responsibilities
* Work in an evidenced-based trauma service being trained, supervised and supported by clinical supervisors who are experts in the field.
* Make a real difference working with highly vulnerable children and families who are motivated and committed to positive change.
What we're looking for
* Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Psychology recognised by the Psychology Board of Australia, with either Full registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia, or Provisional registration with an ability to fulfil full registration within the relevant timeframes.
* Experience: Knowledge of therapeutic frameworks for child abuse, neglect and trauma. Prior experience working with children and adolescents is preferred.
* Driver's Licence: willingness to travel as required.
