The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Mine Surveyor (Underground) at Tropicana Gold Mine. Reporting to the Superintendent: Surveying, this role offers an 8-day on, 6-day off roster with flights from Perth and Kalgoorlie.
Role Purpose
Coordinate accurate measurements and record mine workings, ensuring survey data requirements and services are met safely, effectively, and in compliance with standards and timeframes.
Responsibilities
* Be a safety leader aligned with company values and policies.
* Supervise underground surveying activities for efficient and safe mine operations.
* Train and coach team members to build organizational capability.
* Process survey data and produce plans, reports, and spatial information, maintaining data integrity.
* Implement systems and standards for cost-effective service delivery.
* Maintain survey and ancillary equipment.
* Prepare statutory mine plans and reports.
About You
* Formal qualification in Surveying.
* Grade 1 Mine Surveyors Certificate (WA) is mandatory.
* Several years of underground mining experience.
* Leadership experience as a Senior Surveyor.
* Proficiency in Deswik, Leica instruments, and Trimble GPS.
* Experience with autonomous drones (preferred).
* Strong practical, planning, and prioritization skills.
* Innovative, safety-conscious, and team-oriented.
* Physically capable of manual handling tasks.
* Existing Australian work rights (mandatory).
