As an Environmental Adviser, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our onshore petroleum and gas operations meet both regulatory obligations and environmental best practices.
You will be responsible for delivering technical monitoring programs to support environmental approvals and regulatory obligations across the Eastern Australia Onshore activities.
This includes scoping and management of consultants and contractors field monitoring programs and ecological surveys, reviewing field monitoring data and deliverables, quality assurance review of data and review of consultant reports for internal and external stakeholders.
You will also manage budgets related to field monitoring programs in line with the Operating Model, and prepare data reports for internal and external stakeholders.
We are looking for a qualified Environmental Adviser with experience in environmental programs, monitoring, and compliance within the petroleum or resources industry. You should have expertise in implementing ecological surveys with respect to state-based legislation for protected flora and fauna.
A strong background in environmental project management is essential, with some experience overseeing consultants and contractors. You should be detail-oriented and committed to ensuring high-quality data and reports.
A valid Driver's Licence is also required.
