Park Conservation Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Park Conservation Officer to join our team.
As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional customer service while implementing Council's regulatory functions.
The role is full-time, with 38 hours of work per week, and includes regular days off and on-call duties.
Key Requirements
* Class C NSW Driver's Licence
* HSC or equivalent work experience in a relevant industry
* Knowledge of compliance and enforcement matters in Local Government
* Ability to read, understand, apply and enforce legislation and policies
* Well-developed interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution, consultation, negotiation and customer service
* Well-developed written communication skills
* Demonstrated experience in animal handling
This position requires a criminal history check and pre-employment health assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with regulations under Companion Animals Act 1998, Local Government Act 1993 and Australian Road Rules 2014
* Deal with difficult customers and provide excellent customer service
* Work as part of a team to achieve goals
