The Infrastructure Directorate isthe City of Stirling's largest and most diverse Directorate,managing many of the City's important assets and serviceswhile delivering a multi-million-dollar portfolio ofprojects.
This Directorate is responsiblefor the ongoing delivery of the City's sustainabilityprogram, as well as contributing heavily to the City ofStirling's vibrant local economy, liveable neighbourhoods andthriving communities.
About thePosition
This position is responsible forthe upkeep and aesthetic appeal of unkempt public spaces andstreetscape areas across the City to the desired community outcomesand in accordance with the City's guidelines and safetystandards.
KeyResponsibilities
The duties of the StreetscapeMaintenance Assistant will include but are not limitedto:
- Undertaking maintenance ofstreetscapes and parks encompassing mowing, line trimming,edging, blower operation and litter and debris removal asdirected by the Team Leader/Supervisor
- Collaborate with the TeamLeader to complete tasks aligned with the StreetscapeMaintenance Schedule
- Operating a range ofequipment, observing correct operating and safetyinstructions
AboutYou

- Experience in turfmaintenance including operating a ride on mower and linetrimmer
- Interpersonal skillsincluding but not limited to basic written and verbalcommunication skills
- Experience in operating andmaintaining small plant

This permanent full-time positionis a Level 5 Outside Workforce Agreement position which attracts asalary from $70,970 gross per annum plus superannuation.
To be eligible to workfor us, you need to provide, or have ability obtaina:
- A copy of Australian drivinglicence
- National Police Clearance(valid within the last 3 months)
- Pre-Employment Medical andDAS clearance
- The right to work inAustralia
