Overview
Site Manager - Multistorey Commercial Build at Design Build. An experienced Site Manager is sought to oversee commercial new build projects. The project is a multistorey commercial build on the Gold Coast valued at $50M, with a solid pipeline of future projects and a supportive work culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of the build.
- Coordinate with the project team, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working setting.
- Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues or delays, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Manage and optimise resource allocation, including labour, equipment, and materials, to achieve project goals efficiently.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, site records, project look-aheads, and safety records.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on multistorey commercial build projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, processes, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Sound understanding and commitment to safety regulations and procedures.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- QBCC license
