Who will you be working with?
You will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and work as part of a collaborative, self-directed team. Based on-site with our client, you will work closely with their team while serving as the key link between Wabtec and the client. This role requires strong teamwork, communication, and the ability to build effective relationships across both organisations.

What will your typical day look like?
The purpose of the Communication & Control Technician role is to perform routine maintenance of Operation Technology Systems including equipment such as network switches, PLCs, CCTV cameras, access control, passenger information equipment, radio, workstations, and servers.
Responsibilities of the role include:
* Client systems maintenance, including:
* Continual improvement of Preventative Maintenance procedures
* Updates/Upgrades/Installations to Operational Technology (OT) systems
* Diagnose and troubleshoot system faults
* OT Network configuration
* Client system audits
* Availability to be on a 24x7 after hours on-call roster ~ 1 week a month
* Availability to perform ~1 week of night shifts every quarter
What do we want to know about you?
* Sound communication skills including – concise verbal skills, the ability to write short technical reports and actively listen.
* Proven ability to give and receive feedback to facilitate personal growth and the growth of other team members.
* Previous experience with OT systems, CCTV systems (Bosch/Genetec), Audio Systems, Radio Systems and Network (Cisco).
* Previous Data and/or Fibre Cabling Experience (will be provided if not already obtained)
* Demonstrated experience and/or ability to learn new technologies
* Be customer focused and can work collaboratively with your team
