BIS Industries currently provides a variety of services to our client at the Norse Skog Boyer Mill. Services provided to our client include on hire of assets (mobile and fixed plant), and operating the softwood conversion and integrated woodchip plant.

We are seeking a suitably experienced individual to manage all aspects of our site operations whilst helping to drive, foster and reinforce a positive, safe work environment in addition to a high-performing culture on site.

**Duties may include (but are not limited to)**:

- Demonstrate commitment to the Bis Goal of goal of Zero Harm to both our personnel and our equipment;
- Build, develop and foster effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders:

- Lead and manage all aspects of onsite operations whilst ensuring career development of your direct reports;
- Monitoring and assessing employee safety & sustainability performance;
- Ensuring the business unit is achieving required production KPIs and any other agreed business targets;
- Provide strong and effective leadership to all staff through the development of career and succession plans (with the assistance of our People Team)
- Facilitate and participate in all site critical communications including meetings, reports and client requests as required.

You need to possess exceptional leadership qualities - you are able to lead and mentor others to develop themselves professionally and personally, and possess excellent client mediation skills. You understand and know how to draw the potential out of each individual team member in your team to ensure maximum output.

**About you**:

- Have proven experience building successful site teams;
- Possess a unwavering commitment towards safety (not just the token keywords) along with the leadership skills and ability to balance this against your production targets to ensure they are safely achieved;
- Have demonstrated site management experience and previous work/employment history within a relevant associated heavy industry (i.e. quarrying, timber, resources);
- Have a proven ability to manage multiple competing expectations and priorities, including operational requirements, client requirements, and personal KPIs.
- Possess strong financial and commercial management skills;
- Proven experience leading, developing and mentoring a strong and positive work culture and workforce onsite.
