We are seeking an AMZL ACES Business Analyst to leverage data-driven insights for impactful business decisions. The ideal candidate combines a passion for analytics with attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-changing environment. Strong communication and business acumen are essential for collaborating with stakeholders, framing key questions, and developing data solutions. The role involves working with large datasets, synthesizing data sources, and translating findings into actionable recommendations to drive organizational change.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Management & Analysis: Manage data, craft SQL queries and macros, implement VBA solutions, and create visualizations that offer immediate insights. Handle extensive datasets across platforms like Excel and SQL, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
2. Reporting: Design and implement reports that enable informed decision-making. Ensure accuracy and timeliness, translating complex data into clear insights that influence strategy.
3. KPI Development & Monitoring: Establish and oversee key performance indicators, monitor existing metrics, and develop new ones aligned with evolving business needs. Collaborate with teams to improve processes and ensure metrics reflect business objectives.
A Typical Day
* Minimum 2 years of quantitative analysis experience
* Strong SQL query writing and optimization skills
* Advanced Excel skills including macros and pivot tables
* Experience creating reports and visualizations
* Data modeling and data warehouse management experience
* Proven ability to translate business requirements into data solutions
* Technical requirements documentation experience
* Track record of implementing data-driven insights
* Problem-solving and analytical skills
* Experience handling complex datasets and data management systems
* Knowledge of Python and data science tools
* Proficiency with BI tools like Tableau and Power BI
* Experience with data mining, ETL, and large-scale databases
