Diagnostic Chemical Pathologist Opportunity
Austin Health is seeking suitably qualified and experienced Chemical Pathologists to provide a diagnostic service in all aspects of Chemical Pathology.
About the Role
We have two full time positions available and are open to candidates who are interested in either full time or less than full time positions. The successful applicants will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic services, contributing to the development of pathology testing, and participating in quality assurance and improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide diagnostic services in all aspects of Chemical Pathology, including laboratory testing and reporting.
* Develop and implement new tests and procedures as required.
* Contribute to the development of pathology testing and ensure that it is aligned with best practice standards.
* Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities to ensure that diagnostic services meet high standards.
Requirements
* Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent).
* Completion of specialist training in Chemical Pathology.
* Registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
* Current Medicare provider number.
