Overview
Foodbank WA is looking for Mobile Driver and Storeperson role for their Perth branch who will be responsible for the safe handling and movement of food.
The role ensures stock is stored and managed correctly, transported safely and is readily available to enable Foodbank WA to achieve its strategic objectives and provide food relief to its network of charities and agencies in addition to the local community.This role focuses on the ability to work with volunteer staff and paid employees alike.

Key responsibilities
* Driving
o Completes all necessary vehicle checks and cleans vehicle on a weekly basis; and
o Ensures all faults are logged with the Line Manager and report hazards
o Ensure that we maintain appropriate records regarding OH&S, COR and Food safe.
o Ensure mobile vans arrive at sites on time and Volunteers represent the foodbank brand with integrity.
* Stock Management
o Ensure that all stock in the vans is fit for purpose and that date code rotation is managed appropriately.
o Ensure that all stock replenishment and other housekeeping functions are completed in all vans
o Responsible for ensuring that our stock is presented appropriately in all vans
o Prepare stock for daily mobile runs ensuring stock levels are adequate for each site.
o Ensures that all stock (including fresh stock) in the vans is fit for purpose and that date code rotation is managed appropriately.
o Performs some duties within a chilled environment including the freezer to pick orders.
o Completes compliance checks to ensure adherence to HACCP and OH&S requirements.
o Performs warehouse duties in the main warehouse or branch Point of Sale when required
o Experience and demonstrated ability in warehouse operations and store procedures.
Qualifications and requirements
* Knowledge of OH&S procedures.
* Knowledge of HACCAP Process.
* Knowledge of and experience with Food safe Requirements.
* Ability to work alone and in a group environment, especially with volunteer staff.
* Capable of regular lifting.
* Current license to Perform High Risk Work (forklift).
* A current and valid LR licence; and
* Commitment to making a difference to people in need across Western Australia.
